If you're the type of Droid owner who can't wait for updates, the folks at Droid Life have posted a step-by-step guide to updating your Droid to 2.1. It looks short and sweet, but already a number of users have run into "issues." Personally, I don't like waiting, but the last thing I want to do is brick my phone, so unless you're the adventurous type (with a few hours to burn), it might not be a bad idea to wait an extra day or two when (hopefully) the masses will receive over-the-air updates.
